Trade fairs

Task: Bring customers to the booth in a targeted way, at one of the most important trade fairs of the process industry.

Solution: An invitation with a gift: two mailings in three languages, a reminder and a thank-you mail. Those who registered chose a gift in advance and collected it in person at the booth. On site, a buzzer game and a live demo sparked conversations. Plus the entire organisation behind it: hotels for the booth team and for visitors from within the company, travel, catering at the booth, shipping of exhibits and material, and a detailed briefing with shift schedules.

Result: 74 registrations with a gift choice from 4,204 invitations, and 132 leads in five days. A great success according to the internal review: the live demonstrations impressed visitors, the new products attracted strong interest, and users gave valuable feedback.

Task: CP’s first own trade fair appearance in the USA, with a booth that makes Swiss quality visible.

Solution: Instead of renting furniture for every fair, a dedicated, reusable trade fair system was created: a booth box with an all-round design and a box for the furniture, both stored in the USA between fairs.

Result: Since then in use in Orlando, The Woodlands and Miami, without additional rented furniture.

Task: CP Pump Systems’ first appearance at the trade fair of the fertilizer industry, on an island space open on all four sides.

Solution: Self-build with the US trade fair system: booth box with the birch forest motif and furniture from the interim storage in Florida, plus a shipment from Switzerland with exhibits, brochures and giveaways. Communication was tailored to the industry: an ad and an adapted entry in the fair catalogue, e-mail banners with a free ticket and three mailings.

A complete 9 m² booth for the German subsidiary at the trade fair of the Leuna chemical site: two magnetic drive pumps, including a cutaway model with heating jacket, three roll-ups as the back wall and a full-page ad in the fair catalogue.

Result: 21 conversations on one day, five of them with existing customers and three with new prospects.

Tabletop booth at the international trade fair of the sulphur and sulphuric acid industry, focused on one application: pumping molten sulphur safely. A dedicated roll-up was created for it, ‘Keep Your Molten Sulphur Flowing’, together with a pump with heating jacket as the exhibit and three mailings in advance.

18 m² at the trade fair for chemicals and petrochemicals in Le Havre. The booth design continues the Petrochymia 2024 appearance: back walls with ‘La sécurité avant tout’, world map and fascia banners with the claim. Plus brochures and factsheets in French, an ad in the fair catalogue and web banners on the fair website.

Double booth at the fertilizer industry fair focused on Latin America, built with the US trade fair system. A purpose-designed back wall with the birch forest motif spans both booth spaces, complemented by the roll-up on the heated pumps for molten sulphur.

Result: 39 leads from more than ten countries, from the USA to Brazil, Colombia and India.

A 6 × 3 m booth in Hall 7, newly designed: a large-format photo of an industrial plant, the redesigned world map of locations and the Swiss Made mark. E-mail banners and social media posts invited visitors with a free ticket.

A 20 m² corner booth at the trade fair for pumps, valves and process technology. Two booth walls: ‘cleaner pumps, cleaner planet™’ on one, ‘Safety first’ with a world map of locations on the other. Customers could register for a gift in advance and collect it at the booth.

Booth at three trade fairs under one roof, for industry in northern France and the Benelux countries. The booth design continues the Le Havre appearance, with an updated world map and a large-format plant photo on the door of the booth cabin. New: goodie bags right at the entrance, so visitors carried a CP bag through the fair.

Appearance at the trade fair of the British chemical and process industry, to strengthen the presence in the UK market. Back wall and fascia banners with world map and Swiss Made mark, plus an ad with two arguments: Swiss quality and low maintenance. Seven exhibits from five series were on show.

A compact 10 × 10 ft booth at the new trade fair for the North American chemical, pharmaceutical and bio-based industries: the roll-up for molten sulphur and three pumps on the CP pedestals. New was a revised lead form with six application areas.

Result: 36 leads over two days, captured with the new lead form.

Tabletop booth in Berlin. The back wall develops the 2025 design further: under ‘Keep Your Molten Sulphur Flowing’ it shows in a direct comparison how CP’s fully heated heating chamber keeps the sulphur evenly at temperature.

18 m² in Martigues. The booth develops the Le Havre and Dunkirk appearance further: a large-format plant photo, the key message ‘Les pompes chimiques les plus sûres et les plus efficaces au monde’, world map and Swiss Made mark. Plus an ad in the fair catalogue presenting four series, and two web banners.

12 m² at the trade fair for chemicals and petrochemicals in southern France, with purpose-designed booth walls, three exhibits and material in French. Logistics ran via a partner of the organiser: first to its warehouse in France, then to the fair and back to Switzerland the same way.

Task: The previous booth dated from earlier years and mainly showed many small property posters. In addition, the rather older target group was to learn before the fair that they could have their property valued at the booth.

Solution: Royal blue panels with clear messages such as “Have your property valued right at the booth”, plus an ad in the weeks before the fair. The new walls were used at both WEGA and Immozionale.
